I ordered a custom birthday cake for my boyfriend this weekend from this adorable little bakery shop. They responded to my request fairly quick and the ordering process was smooth and professional. The pricing is very reasonable for such beautiful designs. They made my vision come to life and the cake was even better than expected. Pick up was smooth and service was extremely friendly. This bakery is the perfect spot to get custom orders or just to grab a quick treat. Shout out to Lesly and the team for making this event so memorable! The cake was such a hit, thank you!

Such a find! Happened upon it during a walk and stopped in to check it out. Ended up buying an assortment of fantastic treats to both eat and drink - couldn’t resist when I saw their selection. The staff were so incredibly friendly and warm. We ended up sitting in the shop at the very clean and welcoming spot by the window (the shop is very clean and super well-maintained). Highly recommend everything there! The baked goods not only look great but taste great, too! There is one table inside and little spot outside - so it’s not a big cafe, more of a take-out spot. Stop in for a coffee, cupcake, slice of layer cake, or pound cake (we had the honey cornbread cake and chocolate orange cake and both were SO YUMMY) and take it to-go. We will absolutely be back again and even plan to order cakes for occasions from there in the future.

They made my wedding cake and it was perfect. The cake was beautiful, and everyone raved about the lemon curd flavor. I highly recommend them for any bakery services.

I had a five star plus experience with The Sugary. I contracted for a custom baby shower cake. Lesly’s creation was beautiful. The cake was beyond delicious. It was a couple’s shower and even the men were commenting on how good it was and could they have some more! It was so moist, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweetness. Lesly made the entire process easy and fun. She is so creative. I am located in a different state and we did everything via phone and email. I strongly recommended The Sugary and can’t wait for a family reunion in Philly to have her next creation.

Sugary Bakery is such a cute little spot in Philadelphia! They have a great selection of cakes and cupcakes, perfect whether you’re planning something special or just popping in on a whim. We stopped in just to check it out and did a grab-and-go chocolate cake for the hell of it—and it was delicious. A sweet neighborhood bakery that we’d definitely recommend!
